compLexity tente de tricher 

Steven "Sasquatch" Csikos, joueur chez Devastation, a été victime d'une tentative de corruption venant d'un joueur très célèbre de la scène américaine, membre de l'équipe compLexity : Matt "Warden" Dickens.


Dans la nuit de mercredi à jeudi, compLexity affrontait Devastation dans le dernier match de la saison régulière de la CEVO-Pro : un match important pour les deux équipes puisqu'une place en playoffs se jouait.

A cause de problèmes de connexions, le match doit être arrêté alors que Devastation mène 08-06. Le lendemain, Steven "Sasquatch" Csikos n'est pas apte à fournir sa record puisqu'il a oublié de la lancer. Ne pouvant fournir sa démo, le joueur de chez Devastation aurait donc fait perdre son équipe par forfait puisque le startmoney n'aurait pas pu être fixé et que le règlement bannit ce genre d'oubli. C'est à ce moment que Matt "Warden" Dickens serait venu voir Sasquatch et lui aurait proposé une certaine somme d'argent en échange d'une victoire par forfait.

Steven Csikos appuie ses propos par un log IRC ainsi qu'une déclaration :

	I logged on tonight at 7 to play our final rounds of the match. I did not believe my money would be in question due to us up 5-0. I am playing on another pc at my parents house and do not have the demos. I personally have no idea about if I even have the 2nd half of it, which if I do is probably a few rounds due to me restarting due to alt tabbing and messing up my graphics. I do not remember if I restarted. Today we are talking about moneys my team wants the exact amounts. Warden keeps offering scenarios about 5k whole team, 3500 whole team, Storm with his money he should have due to him saving out etc. I ask for them to just get the demos to give them the right amounts, cevo then asks for my entire teams demos. At 9:40 i tell them I do not have the demo, the admin at that time does not make it a big deal. I even tell him I would take 3100 after winning 5-0 which due to our win is less than I would get if I had 0 dollars and won a round. During the cevo discussion coL is telling me to throw the match that they will give us 1/2 their winnings. Also, what goes around comes around in a sense. Our team elects to play the match as we do not play for money. At 11:30 coL is informed my lack of demo and refuses to play. On remarque donc clairement que Matt "Warden" Dickens tente d'acheter le joueur de chez Devastation. Le joueur compLexity propose d'offrir la moitié de la somme remportée en playoffs aux Devastation. De plus, une dernière chose étrange vient s'ajouter : Jason Lake et le joueur Warden sont introuvables depuis la parution de l'article.

Les organisateurs de la CEVO-Pro devraient prendre une décision assez rapidement.
